Our 191-unit purpose-built rental project, Willoughby Walk, is nearing completion. Our project manager Daniel Greenhalgh has overseen the development and construction of the project since the beginning, and he’s very proud of the final results.

“We wanted to do everything a little bit better than usual,” says Dan. “From the choice of building materials, to the landscaping, to the amenities we’ve chosen for the property, we tried to make the upgrade choice in every situation. We want Willoughby Walk to help set a new standard for quality in purpose-built rentals.”

Dan expects the project to have occupancy approval in the next couple of weeks, with the first move-ins planned for mid December. “We’ll begin signing leases after occupancy, which should come in mid-November. We can’t guarantee anyone moving in before January 1st, but we hope to have the first move-ins in December.”

That will complete Phase 1 of the project, which includes about 60% of the property. Phase 2 will complete the rest, and is scheduled for completion in mid-to-late February.

For interested tenants, we encourage you to register on our site. Applications are now being accepted, and registering is the first step in that process.

We’ve added some very nifty 3-D and Virtual Reality tours of some of our suites on our website, which, whether or not you’re an interested tenet, we’d encourage you to check out. There are also hundreds of photos of the property and the community of Willoughby on the site.

“We’re very excited to be building in Willoughby Town Center,” says Dan. “Right across the street, there are a whole bunch of new businesses moving in. It’s getting to be a very bustling shopping and entertainment district.”

Dan has lobbied the city to place a new bus stop right outside the front doors of Willoughby Walk. He’s also worked with the Township of Langley to incorporate Willoughby Walk into its extensive path system.

“This is a walk-able area with a lot of greenways and bike paths, and we wanted to be a part of that, and to maximize our access to it.”

So register now – and bring your pets!
