THE ENM CONSTRUCTION STORY


ENM Construction Management specializes in construction and development management. We are a merchant builder with a focus on purpose-built rental apartment building that create affordable housing opportunities in the greater Vancouver area.

Our foundation is the quality of the people who make up our team. Our founding partners, Colin Lacey and Daniel Greenhalgh believe that the fundamental qualities of each member is what builds success.

Delivering projects on time, on budget and with integrity.

Founded in 2008 as Danniloc Construction as a partnership with Colin & Dan. Renamed ENM in 2010.

ENM began as general ocontractor and build mostly TI’s and general commercial construction. In 2014 focus shifted to doing their own development work and creating partnership groups to develop their own projects.

Willoughby Walk is the fruition of that focus shift.

Purpose built rentals is a model that Dan and Colin like as both a business model and how it brings housing options to the community.

There is a need for professionally managed rental building in the Fraser Valley. It is a much different experience than most rentals that are on the market where you’re dealin with an owner directly and maintenance issues can be

ENM Construction Management specializes in construction and development management. As a merchant builder, our primary focus is on purpose-built rental apartment buildings that create housing opportunities in the greater Vancouver area.

Our foundation is the quality of the people who make up our team. Our founding partners, Colin Lacey and Daniel Greenhalgh believe that the fundamental qualities of each member is what builds success and enables the team to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with integrity.

Founded in 2008, Daniloc Construction as a partnership with Colin and Daniel, the company was renamed to ENM Construction Management Ltd. in 2010. In the early days, ENM began as general contractor working predominantly on tenant improvement and general commercial construction projects. In 2014 the focus shifted to include development work and creating partnership groups to develop their own projects.

Willoughby Walk is the fruition of that focus shift.

The purpose built rental model is one that Colin and Daniel appreciate from both a business and community perspective; it is a profitable enterprise that brings housing options to the community. With rental inventory at an all-time low and rental rates higher than they've ever been, there is a need for professionally managed rental buildings in the Fraser Valley. 

Colin and Daniel both are community-minded and have built ENM Construction with that perspective in mind. They actively participate in fundraising endeavours for non-profit organizations, support community sports teams, and seek out opportunities to help those in need.

Each member of our team has distinctive qualities and skills that contribute to the success our company. 

COLIN LACEY

President and Development Manager
As a founding partner, Colin takes on the role of administration and oversight of construction projects. This includes staffing, site supervision, and construction safety. 

As the liaison between owners, architects, and sub-trades, he is responsible for contract writing and managing project costs by analyzing material and labour pricing.

Colin is currently working towards completing his Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Certification in Project Management.

DANIEL GREENHALGH

Construction Manager
Also a founding partner, Daniel  oversees the day-to-day operations at each of our construction sites.

Daniel has managed dozens of construction projects including several low-rise condo developments and major commercial renovations and new builds.

In additional to ensuring projects are progressing according to schedule, Daniel is responsible for quality control and takes a hands-on approach by visiting each site regularly.

Daniel is currently working towards completing his Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Certification in Project Management.

LISA FINDEISEN

Accounting Controller and Office Administrator
Lisa joined the ENM team in 2016 and is integral to ensuring our projects are delivered on budget. 

Working closely with Daniel and Colin, she analyzes the financial data to provide reports that help the team stay on track. She also offers administrative report to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of our team.

BRUCE DUTNALL, CPA (CGA)

Director of Finance and Acquisitions
The newest member of our team, Bruce plays a key role in our merchant building services.

In his role, Bruce supports our market position by building strong relationships with key financial stakeholders. He helps secure land and negotiate sales by working with investors and financial institutions to ensure clarity of the investment opportunity.

MIRJAM MCBRIDE

Executive Assistant
Executive assistant to Colin Lacey, Mirjam is in charge of scheduling, time management and document preparation 

TYLER LAWSON

Site Superintendent
Responsible for day to day trade management. Tyler has nearly 10 years of experience in construction. He’s done many high end executive homes. He specializes in quality and preciseness.

KYLE LESLIE

Site Superintendent
Responsible for day to day trade management as well as interior finishes. He has over 10 years in construction with a broad range from institutional, commercial and multi family low rise.

KARIN LACEY

Business Development Manager
Responsible for managing client relations and following up with clients to further develop business relationships. Karin also helps manage ENM’s commitment to supporting the community and charitable works.
